Type of Announcement: Unplanned Downtime Description: Node4 experienced a major network outage this morning which resulted in varying degrees of service disruption. The outage began at 9.17am. Engineers restored service for the majority of hosting customers by 9.55am. Engineers continued to troubleshoot the issue and traced it back to a single segment of the network which was then isolated.All services were restored by 12.40, although some customers will have seen their service restored prior to this time. The cause of this outage and a report on how we plan to mitigate this type of problem in the future will be published within the next 72 hours.
