There were some short periods of a few minutes where throughput was low yesterday evening at around 18:10 and 19:00 as well as a longer period from 22:30 to 23:00 and 00:45 to 01:00. During this time customers had slower than normal throughput but remained connected and working.
This was due to a denial or service attack *by* one of our hosted customers. Our logging has allowed us to trace the specific machine. We suspect a virus or other infection but we are talking to them now (yes, on a Sunday morning). |
